Post Card in the Works

I am currently working on a post card to send out to contacts, galleries, and so forth.

This is how it looks so far. It may look simple, but it is incredibly difficult to match a colored section to a painting and choose the proper type for the job.
I have spent hours and hours moving things around and using different fonts, but this is how it stands so far. It probably still needs work.




I also have concerns of doing this without my homepage being completely up and running. I hope after ordering it that I can have something good in process before the product gets to me.

WIP

Here's a work in progress I started a week or two ago. This has been a bit of a rough month for working. Finished grad school stuff which was nice, but then I became sick with the flu and an infection in my mouth and throat that I had to get some powerful meds to be rid of. Also my car has had better days to say the least, with one major break in it this month.

I have been pretty busy this holiday season, what with graduate application deadlines being a week or two away for almost all schools.

Over the holiday I have been drawing a lot in my sketchbook, which I'll post when I get access to a scanner

I have about 4 more images to take for my final portfolio from the past year (15). I'll have to fix them up some unfortunately as some of the glue I've used has not mixed well with some of my collage.

Had to finish graduate school statements recently, not to mention I left for a bit for Thanksgiving

Not sure if this is complete yet, but I think it is. Also reshot this when I got back from work and it looks TONS better with these new lights that arrived for me yesterday. Helps make things a lot crisper
