New Computer Up and running

I finally got a new computer running for the most part (still kinks to work out).
Here's some stuff going on.



Using a brush again tentatively for the first time in maybe a little over a year. Strange but true. Especially to be using oils. So far so good, I expect it to get pretty crazy in due time (still early in process). There's crayon, graphite, oils, ink, and construction paper involved so far.
Not really sure what to make of it so far, and can't really say I know what I'm doing, but that is what's exciting about it right now for me probably.
I've been pretty inspired by psychedelic imagery lately.



Very old collage (w/ ink) that's just been sorta sitting for a few months. One of the stagnant art pieces I have that's very unfinished. Not sure when I'll go back into it or what I'll do to it.



New finished drawing/collage with Allie Hornak. Made about a month ago. Using a lot of shape to it, a bit more than the drawing in the last post that was shown in Boston.

I'll get better photos of these in due time.

Also I have an installation/show collab coming up for Mid April with Allie Hornak, Mike Meador, and George Dietz. Stay tuned.

Few Pieces at a Show

A bit of an old painting kind of. Over a year old. Might be returning to panel again after I invest in a saw. Not sure yet.


Most excited that this one was accepted. It's a collaboration between myself and Allie Hornak. We've collaborated in the past in performance but are just starting to really work well together through drawing. There will be more to come I'm sure.


Bit of delay since my last update. Purchased a new computer finally after my laptop died.
Trying to read a lot more currently. I need to reinvigorate some old ideas and figure out a place to carry out a performance I'm interested in.

Some editing in FinalCutPro. I also have a collage/drawing/painting that has just been sitting that I could probably get photos of eventually. It will be continued again soon. Other projects are sort of on a hold, of which there are quite a few. We'll see how I get back to them in the new year now. I plan on studying more this year after applying to school and taking it a bit easier on artwork maybe? I'll probably still work a lot but maybe I'll just be more disciplined in my studies. I'm also considering taking some time off from applying to grad which also might not happen, time will tell. I did purchase a new computer which is arriving and should be assembled by this weekend hopefully. So I'll be up and running fully equipped again to say the least. At the moment I'm pretty hungry for knowledge, doing more collaborations, and rediscovering the brush. This also includes watching more film throughout history and exploring FinalCutPro more. I'd also like to endeavor in a tablet, studying art styles of Gainax (weird I realize), and check out Flash/animation progs.
